Big companies suggest that you should apply shampoo first before conditioning, but if you have a long hair, you should start by conditioning it before shampooing it.

3. Lather up on the scalp only
Shampoo your hair at the scalp. Start massaging from root to tip!

4. Be gentle in shampooing
Don't rush and don't be harsh. Rough way of shampooing can leave a damaged scap.

5. Avoid rinsing and repeating
You don't have to wash your hair with shampoo twice. This will just cause your hair to look dry.

6. Apply conditioner from the mid lengths to the tip.
Apply the conditioner from the mid-lengths of your hair down to the tip. You don't have to apply it on your scalp because your scalp already contains natural oils.

7. End with a cold water rinse
